The Transitional And Living Independent program (TAIL), is the main focus of our ministry. As the teens age out of the orphanage, statistics show that most boys end up homeless, involved in criminal activity, and even prison. The girls…some go to live with their boyfriends, some find work and struggle to survive, and others are pregnant before they ever leave the orphanage. The girls do have more options available such as transitional programs, which have been very successful in helping them.
With the lack of options available to the young men, the Lord directed Fingerprints to be involved in the boy’s lives by offering them the opportunity for a successful life as an adult. Our program teaches basic life skills, assisting with education, jobs, and discipleship in the Word of God. We have a transitional apartment that gives them the chance to live independently, but with constant supervision, guidance and support. FAMILY.
